This week, photos of a tanless Snooki spread like wildfire across the Internet. Reports have emerged that Snooki, who is perhaps most known (and ridiculed) for her faux orange glow has given up tanning due to her pregnancy. Snooki sans tan…could it really be? I combed the Internet since I needed photo proof myself. Here’s what I found:

Gasp! The girl actually looks good! Her face, which appears dramatically paler in the pic, shows she has peeled away the layers of self-tanner to reveal a more natural glow. So Snooki’s ditched the tan and party lifestyle for now…what about the rest of the cast? Times for the Jersey Shore star surely are changing. Snooki recently told Yahoo! TV, her baby, in fact, won't be tanning -- bottle, spray, or booth -- any time soon. "Yeah, I wouldn't do that to my baby," Polizzi, who has her own line of tanning products, said. "I mean, my baby is going to be naturally tan. Look at me -- and Jionni is very dark," she says of her child's dad. "So my baby is going to have no problem being tan."
According to pregnancy blog “The Bump,” most spray tan and self-tanners contain dihydroxyacetone (or DHA) which may or may not harm the fetus. Most doctors recommend that pregnant women avoid spray tanning and self-tanners all together. Snooki, who is five months along in her pregnancy, is expecting her first child with fiancé Jionni LaValle. Snooki’s Polizzi's pregnancy will be a main plot in her reality spin-off with BFF Jenni 'JWOWW' Farley, which premieres June 21 on MTV.
