Since the release of the CDJ-2000 from Pioneer, this highly complex turntable has taken mixing to a whole new level. Pioneer has once again shown why they are the industry standard for nightclubs all around the world. The first widely noticeable feature on the deck is the 6.1 inch LCD screen. This allows DJs to see everything in a glance in the dim club lighting. Using the rotary knob to the right you can browse through playlists and songs by turning and clicking it down. It is really easy to browse through music libraries this way. Also songs that you have already played will be highlighted in green so you don't end up playing them twice in a set. These turntables allow you to leave your laptop at the studio and reduce the need to haul around CDs to performances.

With the added features such as the built in USB and SD card slots with the Pro DJ link, enables you to bring all of your music on just 1 USB drive or SD card. You can plug one USB drive into your left deck and press the link button on the right deck and watch your playlists show up on the screen. Another cool feature is the needle search. This allows you to drag your finger underneath the high resolution wave form to get to the point of the song you need to quick and easy. The program Rekordbox comes with the turntable as well. Rekordbox allows you to prepare before you perform very easily by setting cue points, loops, and hot cues within the program. These are just some of the many features of the revolutionary CDJ 2000. Be sure to keep yourself updated on the Pioneer Pro DJ website to keep up with firmware updates for the CDJ-2000 or to check the forums for troubleshooting advice.
